COP28 and earlier COP
A review of recent COP held by the United Nations
Conferences of the Parties, better known as COPs, are high-level meetings organised by the United Nations that bring together states, regional organisations and non-state actors. Although there are three types of conferences addressing different environmental challenges, the best known are those on climate change. COP28, the last one held, followed in the footsteps of its predecessors by putting the climate emergency on the international agenda. See all the information and agreements reached at the COPs that preceded it.
