Anticipation and innovation, exemplary conduct, commitment, a blend of generosity, austerity and teamwork. These are some of the qualities that Santiago Bergareche, Chairman of Vocento, sees in Ignacio Galán, who received the communication group’s Corporate Leadership Award. The award was given to our Chairman, as well as to Francisco González, Chairman of BBVA and Pablo Isla, Chairman of Inditex. Moreover, Luis de Guindos, Minister of the Economy, attended the event.

After receiving the award, Galán emphasised the importance of "leading the human team", while insisting that "people" are the most important value, as he believes that companies need "a vision, strategy and leaders to manage it", but above all "values", such as "effort, honesty and social commitment". In addition, he mentioned that "there is still a lot to be done" to overcome certain challenges, such as digitisation.
