The 6th edition of the La Toja-Atlantic Link Forum has once again brought together some of the most influential businessmen, intellectuals, economists and politicians on the international scene for three days. Ignacio Galán, Chairman of Iberdrola, took part in the opening ceremony of the event, inaugurated by King Felipe VI on the island of La Toja, in Pontevedra (northwest Spain).
This is an international benchmark event for debate and reflection on the defence of the values of democratic societies. And on this occasion it has been presented in a decisive year, in which a new framework of global geostrategic relations is being defined with the elections in the United States, as well as the European elections, without forgetting the wars in Ukraine and Gaza or the protectionist tensions in the global economy.
