The Executive Chairman of Iberdrola, Ignacio Galán, today held a meeting with the Deputy General of Bizkaia, Elixabete Etxanobe, at Torre Iberdrola Bilbao, the company's headquarters. The meeting is part of the regular meetings of the Chairman of the company with the authorities of the Basque institutions.
During the meeting, Ignacio Galán conveyed to the Deputy General of Bizkaia the company's firm commitment to the Basque Country. Iberdrola's fiscal contribution in 2024 has grown by 15% to nearly 800 million euros, 90% of which is in Bizkaia.
