Iberdrola will pay a final dividend of €0.351 per share to its shareholders, in accordance with terms of the new edition of the Iberdrola Flexible (Iberdrola Flexible Remuneration) system. Today, the Company has communicated these terms to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV, in Spanish).

The total remuneration charged to 2023 results - taking into account the €0.005 per share - amounts to €0.558 euros, 11.38% more than the €0.501 in 2022.

Iberdrola shareholders have three options: to receive the amount corresponding to their final dividend - €0.351 gross per share - directly in cash; to sell their allocation rights on the market; or to obtain new shares in the Company free of charge. These three options are not exclusive to each other, so that shareholders can choose one of the options or combine them according to their preferences.

Shareholders who prefer to receive new shares free of charge will need 34 allocation rights to obtain one new share.

The company has redeemed 2.85% of its shares, as agreed at its last AGM, and has set the number at 6.24 billion.

Iberdrola has also paid €0.005 per share as an engagement dividend.

Dividend calendar

• 2 July 2024 - Communication of the number of free allocation rights required to receive one share and  the gross Final Dividend  amount per share.
• 3 July 2024 - Capital increase announcement. Last day on which shares entitled to participate in the dividend are traded.
• 4 July 2024 - Reference date (exdate or ex-dividend date) from which -inclusive- shares are traded without the right to participate in the "Iberdrola Retribución Flexible" (Iberdrola Flexible Remuneration) system. Beginning of the common election and trading period for the free allocation rights.
• 17 July 2024 - End of the common election period and trading period for free allocation rights.
• 29 July 2024 - Payment of the Final Dividend to those shareholders who have opted to receive cash through this option.
• 31 July 2024 - Expected date for the regular trading of new shares.
