Iberdrola adds footballer Antonia Silva as an ambassador in Brazil

Iberdrola, through its Brazilian subsidiary Neoenergia, has hired Antonia Silva, a defender from Rio Grande do Norte, as a brand ambassador to promote female participation in sport in the country, which will also host the Women's World Cup in 2027, the first in South America.

According to Antonia Silva, ‘I want to inspire girls, especially those in the Northeast, to play football to encourage the growth of women's football in the country. With the sponsorship I will continue with this goal to showcase my achievements on and off the pitch’.
