Iberdrola inaugurates new lights at the Convento de Nossa Senhora da Conceição in Brazil

Iberdrola, through the foundation of its subsidiary in Brazil, Instituto Neoenergia, has modified the lighting of the Convento de Nossa Senhora da Conceição in Itanhaém, Brazil, as part of its Cultural Lighting Programme. The historic building has undergone maintenance and renovation over the last few months.

The more than 492-year-old Convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceição has been a temple of faith and devotion for more than 400 years. Located at the top of the Itaguaçu hill, in the Historic Centre of Itanhaém, its construction is in the colonial Baroque style of the 16th and 17th centuries and began around 1639. The Convent is the oldest building in Itanhaém and one of the first churches built in Brazil.
