Iberdrola helps the people affected by Hurricane John in Mexico.
Iberdrola, through its subsidiary in Mexico -Iberdrola Mexico- delivered 1,000 food packages with basic necessities to the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) for distribution.
Hurricane John made landfall on 23 September as a category 3 cyclone, causing loss of life, severe flooding and landslides in the states of Guerrero, Oaxaca and Michoacán.
For several years, Iberdrola Mexico has collaborated with the Sedena when the DN-III-E Plan is activated to assist people in cases of disasters through its Energy for Mexico programme.
