The chairman of Iberdrola, Ignacio Galán, announced the launch of the EducaClima website, an educational platform with resources for teachers, a tool to help them teach young students about the causes, impacts and consequences of climate change, as well as raising awareness of the importance of looking after and protecting nature.

The advert has been released within the framework of World Environment Day, at an event celebrated at the Ciudad Escuela Muchachos (CEMU) (Town-School for Boys and Girls) in Leganés (Madrid) attended by the Minister of Education and Research of the Community of Madrid, Rafael Van Grieken.

Galán gave an educational workshop about energy and climate change to year six students from CEMU, in which he has emphasised the importance of clean energies, responsible consumption and efficiency to combat global warming.
