Iberdrola has collaborated with the ADOP Plan, the Spanish plan to support paralympians, since it was initially created in 2005. The plan aims to provide Spanish Paralympic athletes with the best possible conditions to train and achieve success in the Paralympic Games.
25% of the people in Europe and in the United States collaborate as volunteers. In Spain, 260,000 people participate in international projects.

In this very difficult situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic, whose effects are being felt across the world, Iberdrola group's employees are working harder than ever to continue supplying energy, showing their solidarity while keeping employees and customers safe. We take a look at some of the professionals that have made it possible.
Living without plastics is possible. At least it is in Aberporth, a small tourist village on the west coast of Wales. Its 1,100 inhabitants have reduced their consumption to make their village the world's first plastic-free community thanks to Plastic-free Aberporth, an initiative led by local resident and filmmaker Gail Tudor.

Working in collaboration with public administrations, various companies and NGOs, we have prevented vulnerable customers from being deprived of their electric supply. Our group has also contributed over €15 million towards a series of initiatives to raise living standards for people at risk of social exclusion.
Iberdrola encourages its employees to donate food and essential goods. In 2023, 20,495 people participated in volunteering activities, such as supporting soup kitchens to feed families in need. Under our commitment to mitigate the COVID-19 health crisis, 90,000 meals have been prepared for people in vulnerable situations.
