Humans have limited physical capabilities that can be enhanced through technology. Exoskeletons are wearable structures that support and assist movement, or augment the capabilities of the human body.
We now know the winners of the Startup Challenge launched by Vineyard Wind, a company which is 50 % owned by Iberdrola group through its subsidiary AVANGRID. SICdrone, Night Vision Technology Solutions and Open Ocean Robotics will develop a pilot project, together with Vineyard Wind and Greentown Labs, with the aim of finding technology to minimise the impact of the installation of offshore wind farms on mammals in the area. Below, we interviewed these startups to find out a little more about their creation, their aims and their projects.

You may never have actually seen a meteorite, but they keep falling to earth. According to a study by researchers at the University of Manchester and Imperial College published in Geology, there are about 17,000 of them a year. One reason for their apparent invisibility is their size, which shrinks after passing through the Earth's atmosphere to the point at which they are virtually imperceptible.
The companies Hyperion and Sensohive were chosen as winners of the Transmission Construction Automation Startup Challenge, with which Iberdrola sought solutions to optimise the construction of electricity transport facilities, improving the efficiency and productivity of the different processes. In order to learn a little more about them, while delving deeper into their projects and finding out what their challenges and aspirations are, we spoke to the people in charge.
