Looking ahead to our upcoming 2018 Annual General Meeting on 13 April, the Vocento group âone of Spain's leading multimedia communication firmsâ has interviewed the Chairman of Iberdrola to discuss some of the major current issues for the company and for the energy sector overall.
On 25 September 2018 the 'El País' newspaper published an interview with the Chairman and CEO of Iberdrola, Ignacio Galán, on his participation in the UN Global Compact 2018 in New York (USA). Galán acknowledged his satisfaction that a Spanish company has been acknowledged for its work in combating global warming.

Ayúdame3D is a project created in Spain that makes 'trésdesis' - prosthetic arms made using 3D printing techniques - for people without resources, anywhere in the world. The project sets out to improve their quality of life by harnessing innovation and the numerous possibilities of new technologies. Rosa Kariger is Iberdrola group's global cyber security director and is responsible for global governance, intelligence and oversight of IT and OT cyber security in all the countries where the company operates: continental Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico and Brazil. She graduated as an industrial engineer from the UPM, has taken part in management development programs at IESE and global leadership of IMD, and co-chaired the Systems of Cyber Resilience: Electricity working group of the World Economic Forum.
