At the Iberdrola Group, we contribute to society by creating wealth and social development. Along these lines, we promote effective equality between men and women in access to employment, training, promotion, and working conditions. We also provide support to workers with disabilities, facilitating labour integration and we promote diversity and social inclusion of vulnerable groups.

Our society has changed enormously in recent years. We live in an increasingly global world, where different cultures, races, genders and identities are ever more closely connected. And everyone's needs should all be covered equally. Iberdrola has been carrying out strategic actions to ensure diversity and inclusion for its workers, customers and suppliers, and to progress toward being a more diverse and inclusive society in all the countries where we are present.

Iberdrola has collaborated with the ADOP Plan, the Spanish plan to support paralympians, since it was initially created in 2005. The plan aims to provide Spanish Paralympic athletes with the best possible conditions to train and achieve success in the Paralympic Games.

Iberdrola encourages its employees to donate food and essential goods. In 2023, 20,495 people participated in volunteering activities, such as supporting soup kitchens to feed families in need. Under our commitment to mitigate the COVID-19 health crisis, 90,000 meals have been prepared for people in vulnerable situations.

Estefanía Segovia has benefited from the international mobility promoted by the company, which favours mixing talents and cultures and motivates employees, who all row together in the same direction. And there are many other employees like her in the group.

Among the principles that guide the corporate culture of the Iberdrola group is its multinational drive through its mobility program. This goes hand in hand with the creation of teams with different cultures and locations. Nuria Soto has moved to the United States to take on a new challenge.
