Iberdrola Group operates its second major offshore wind project in the Baltic: Baltic Eagle. Located 30 kilometres to the northeast of Rügen island off the coast of Pomerania (Germany), this new 476 megawatt (MW) installation supply renewable energy to 475,000 households.
Iberdrola group is going to build a macro offshore wind complex in UK waters, the East Anglia Hub. This undertaking will see the development of three projects capable of delivering a total installed capacity of 2,900 MW: East Anglia ONE North, East Anglia TWO and East Anglia THREE. The works, which represent an investment of GBP 10,000 million, commenced in 2022 and are expected to take four years.
