Two very different companies have won the first 2020 Startup Challenge for Collaborative Charging Solutions: Char.gy and Homyhub. The challenge targeted collaborative charging solutions for users of electric vehicles looking to share a charging point and/or make use of other people's charging points.

Swedish company Skyqraft has won the Startup Challenge: Resilience to natural disasters — launched by Iberdrola group in May through its international startups program. The initiative aimed to find proposals to reduce the impact of infrastructures to a minimum and speed up reconnection in case of natural disasters, as well as solutions for addressing these risks.

Iberdrola selects the web tools of the Spanish company SwitchFleet and the US subsidiary of Hitachi Energy as winners of the Start-up Challenge for Electric Vehicle Fleet Planning. A challenge launched in January 2021 by AVANGRID* - Iberdrola's subsidiary in the United States - through the PERSEO International Start-up Programme, as part of its commitment to the electrification of the transport sector.
Five companies have been selected in the search for sustainable structures that allow cost optimisation either because they are made of alternative materials to steel or because their ratio of steel per MW built is lower than that of conventional structures.

The technology of the Spanish company Tychetools has been selected by our PERSEO start-up programme, in collaboration with Schneider Electric and Microsoft, as the winner of the Start-up Challenge: Energy Efficiency in Data Centres.
