Iberdrola and the companies that form part of the Iberdrola Group in accordance with commercial legislation (hereinafter, “Iberdrola”) is committed to protecting your privacy, and guarantees compliance with personal data protection legislation and, in particular, that your personal information will be processed in a lawful, fair and transparent manner; in accordance with explicit and legitimate purposes; only if it is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it has been obtained; accurate and up-to-date; allowing your identification only for the time necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes justifying its processing and protecting its integrity, availability and confidentiality.

Iberdrola has implemented the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your data from accidental loss or unauthorised alteration, access, use or disclosure, having also established procedures to respond to any security incident that could affect your personal data. 

By means of this privacy notice we inform you about the processing of your personal data that will be carried out in connection with your application for collaboration in the Iberdrola-Perseus start-up programme (“Programme”).

In the event that, as a result of your participation, you provide us with personal data of third parties, you must, prior to their communication, inform said third parties of their processing in accordance with the terms set out in this notice.

We will notify you in due course of any changes to this privacy notice.

Who is the data controller for your personal data?

The data controller of your personal data is Inversiones Financieras Perseo, S.L. with Corporate Tax Id (CIF) number B95236956 and registered address at Plaza Euskadi, Nº5 48009 - (Bilbao) – Vizkaia.

What personal data do we process and how do we gather them?

We will process the following personal data:  

  • Name
  • E-mail address
  • Any other personal data the interested party has provided in the form

The aforementioned personal data are provided by you when you complete the form and/or apply for the Programme, as well as when subscribing to the newsletter. 

For what purposes do we process your data? 

Your personal information will be processed for the following purposes: 

a) To assess your application for potential collaboration in the Programme.
b) To contact you, if necessary, to respond to your application.
c) To share your application with Iberdrola Group companies for the purpose of manage your participation in the Programme.

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the purposes indicated in the previous section is:

a) Iberdrola’s legitimate interest in attending to the requests received.
b) Iberdrola’s legitimate interest in responding to the requests made by the USER.

How long will we keep your data?

Your personal data processed for purpose a) above will be kept for the time necessary to assess your application to participate in the Programme.

Your personal data processed for purpose b) above will be kept for the time necessary to respond to your application.

Your personal data processed for purpose c) above will be processed for as long as you participate in the Programme and, in any case, until you withdraw your consent.

However, once the periods mentioned in the preceding paragraphs have elapsed, the data shall be kept, duly blocked, during the periods of limitation of (i) the legal obligations to which Iberdrola may be subject to and (ii) the possible legal liabilities arising from the relationship established with the data subjects and the consequent processing of their personal data. 

To whom will your data be disclosed?

Your data may be communicated from time to time to the companies of the Iberdrola Group in order to share your collaboration application with such companies and to comply with the purposes stated. In this context, we inform you that such transfers will be made on the basis of your specific consent by ticking the appropriate box on the form.

Your data may also be disclosed to third parties and official bodies in compliance with legal obligations or to comply with requests from regulatory, judicial or other authorities.  

What are your rights?

USERS can exercise the following rights free of charge and at any time: 

  • Right of access. 
  • Right to rectification. 
  • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten). 
  • Right to restriction of processing. 
  • Right to object. 
  • Right to data portability.
  • Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing of your personal data, including profiling. Iberdrola informs you that it does not carry out automated decision-making processes, including profiling, unless you have explicitly authorized us to do so. In that case, we would inform you about the logic used in the decision, as well as about the meaning and the expected consequences of such processing for you.
  • Right to withdraw your consent when it has been provided for any purpose. We inform you that the withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
