Who are we looking for?

At Iberdrola we are always looking for talented and enthusiastic people to cover the different profiles that work in Iberdrola’s area of grids. Although each position has specific characteristics, the following are some of the most valued requirements for candidates:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering qualification
Experience in the renewable energy and power generation sector
Technical knowledge of substations, distribution and transmission lines and flexibility of the electricity system
Experience in managing international projects and diverse work teams
Strong commercial understanding of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) issues

Our firm commitment to grids is reflected in our strategic plan, where we plan to invest 21,500 million euros in grids in the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Spain, representing more than half of our total investment. We continue to work on grid modernisation, digitalisation and automation as a key element to guarantee the massive incorporation of renewables in the near future, as well as to promote the electrification of transportation, buildings and industry.
