Iberdrola, through its subsidiary Avangrid, is constructing the first large-scale offshore wind energy facility in the United States, located off the coast of the state of Massachusetts. This facility, which has already achieved first power, will eventually have a total capacity of 806 megawatts (MW), producing enough clean energy for over 400,000 homes.
Iberdrola Group operates its second major offshore wind project in the Baltic: Baltic Eagle. Located 30 kilometres to the northeast of Rügen island off the coast of Pomerania (Germany), this new 476 megawatt (MW) installation supply renewable energy to 475,000 households.

Iberdrola Group, through its subsidiary ScottishPower Renewables, has put into operation what is now the largest wind farm in its history and one of the world's largest of its kind: the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm in British waters in the North Sea
Iberdrola group is going to build a macro offshore wind complex in UK waters, the East Anglia Hub. This undertaking will see the development of three projects capable of delivering a total installed capacity of 2,900 MW: East Anglia ONE North, East Anglia TWO and East Anglia THREE. The works, which represent an investment of GBP 10,000 million, commenced in 2022 and are expected to take four years.

Iberdrola has installed one of its photovoltaic projects in Castilla y León (Spain), a new wind farm and photovoltaic plant in Villarino, which adds 50 MW of green energy to its portfolio. Once the infrastructure is up and running, it generates enough clean energy to power the equivalent of 27,000 homes and avoid emitting 12,000 tons of CO₂/year into the atmosphere.
