Iberdrola, through its Brazilian subsidiary Neoenergia*, has built the Chafariz wind farm complex in northeast Brazil, one of the company's largest wind power generation projects in the country and in Latin America. The new complex consists of 15 wind farms with a total installed power of more than 471.25 megawatts (MW), the new development was fully operation from January in 2022.
Iberdrola Group has built the Oitis onshore wind farm complex in Brazil. Consisting of 12 wind farms, the new development has a total installed capacity of 566.5 MW, which makes it the largest onshore wind farm project in Latin America and the second largest in the world.

The Iberdrola Group is developing its third offshore wind farm in the Baltic, Windanker, with an installed capacity of 315 MW. The company is thus strengthening the Baltic Hub, which will add more than 1,100 MW of installed capacity.
The Wikinger offshore wind farm marked Iberdrola's entry into the German electricity market, where the construction of two other offshore wind farms is underway: Baltic Eagle (476 MW) and Wikinger Süd (10 MW). The sum of these three projects, all located next to the island of Rügen, make up the largest offshore wind complex in the Baltic Sea.

The state of Connecticut will have a new offshore wind farm now that Iberdrola has been awarded the Park City Wind project. The 804 MW wind farm will supply 14 percent of the state's electricity and avoid emitting more than 25 million tonnes of carbon.
